4月29日下午，外国语学院在西校区图书馆2408举办2022年考研专题系列讲座第一讲。外国语学院院长王浩勇、党委副书记赵家发、团委书记刘永智以及大四全体学生参加了会议。

主讲人王浩勇详尽分析了2020与2021年学院的考研数据，对推免、专硕、学硕、跨考、出国、士兵计划等六个类别同学的考研情况进行了分析，重点对英语、日语专业学生在报考院校选择，专硕、学硕的选择，以及专业方向的选择等方面提出了有针对性的建议。他希望同学们要独立思考，在认真分析考研形势的前提下，结合自身兴趣爱好和专长做出恰当的选择。最后还嘱咐所有考研的同学要以坚定的信念和良好的状态积极应考。

此次讲座旨在提醒同学们提前做好、专业的选择，科学备考少走弯路。对于同学们选择正确的方向，科学备考具有重大指导意义。学院还将举办“外语专业考研复习指导”、“如何应对‘跨考’的专业选择与复习”等讲座，全方位提升毕业生考研竞争力。 （作者 ：刘永智）

CFL Holds a Special Lecture Series on Postgraduate Entrance Examination

On the afternoon of April 29, CFL held the first session of the 2022 Postgraduate Entrance Examination Special Lecture Series in Room 2408, West Campus Library. Among those attending the lecture were Dean Wang Haoyong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Zhao Jiafa, Secretary of Youth League Committee Liu Yongzhi, and all the senior graduating students of CFL.

Dean Wang Haoyong, the keynote speaker, presented an in-depth data analysis of the college regarding the postgraduate entrance examinationin 2020 and 2021, sorting students out into 6 categories: exam-free admission, Professional Master’s program, Academic Master’s program,cross-disciplinary exam, overseas study program, and Student-Soldier program. He then offered well-targeted advice on how to figure out which college or university to apply to, the choice betweenProfessional Master’s program and Academic Master’s program, as well as the choice of specialty, particularly to those senior students majoring in English and Japanese. Meanwhile, Wang expected students to think independently, consider the current situation of the examination carefully, and make the best choice on the basis their own strengths and interests. Finally, he encouraged all candidates to approach the exam with firm confidence and good mental health.

This lecture was meant to prompt students to make specialty choices earlier and avoid detours by making better preparations for the examination. It is therefore highly instructive for them to choose the right paths and prepare effectively. Soon CFL will offer similar lectures like “Preparing and Guiding Foreign Language Major Students Through Postgraduate Entrance Examination” and “How to Choose Specialties and Prepare for Cross-Disciplinary Examinations”, with a view to ultimately improving the all-round competitiveness of graduating seniors for the coming Postgraduate Entrance Examination.(Trans.
